Who operates this network
GSix Designs, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, operates GSix.online. LokServices is the shared technology layer for participating games and applications. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@gsix.online.
Information we may collect
Depending on the feature you use, we may receive information you provide directly, such as an email address, profile details, project inquiry, community post, or support request. We may also receive basic technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate location derived from an IP address, referring page, pages visited, game events, error data, and cookie or device identifiers.
Device-local features
The current Focus Console stores its timer state and completed-session count in your browser. Cookie choices are also saved on your device. This information is not uploaded to GSix by those features. Clearing site data removes it.
Play time and the guest counter
GSix counts how long people spend on the site and in its games and shows the combined total on the home page. If you are signed in, your time is saved to your account and you choose whether it appears on your public profile. If you are not signed in and you allow optional storage, your time is counted under a random per-browser identifier. If you are not signed in and have not allowed optional storage, your browser still reports, to our database provider, only the name of the app and the number of seconds you were active. Nothing is stored on your device for this, no identifier is sent, and the seconds are added to a separate “guest” total that is not linked to you. As with any request, your connection’s IP address is handled by our hosting and database providers to deliver it; we do not attach it to the count. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track send nothing. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate use of the services.
Pop-out panels
The Lok Browser, Setup Studio and Game Deck run in your browser. Saved setups, saved finds, game notes, panel positions and layout choices are stored on your device and are included in a setup code only if you choose to share one. When you search inside the Lok Browser, your search words and your device address go directly from your browser to the service you picked (Wikipedia, Openverse, or the Internet Archive); GSix does not receive or log them. Pages you open inside a panel belong to their own sites and follow their own privacy practices. Games played in a panel sign you in the same way as on their own pages.
Accounts, games, and LokServices
If shared accounts are enabled, GSix may process authentication identifiers, saved progress, achievements, virtual-item ownership, entitlements, and an append-only record of eligible Lok Token activity. Participating games should send named events rather than client-authored balances. Virtual tokens are not cash and have no guaranteed monetary value unless a separate written offer expressly says otherwise.
Advertising and Google
Google AdSense advertising is not active unless GSix publishes its AdSense publisher configuration and Google Privacy & messaging consent messages. When enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, measure, and personalize ads where consent and law permit. Google receives information needed to provide and measure those ads. Learn more at Google’s partner-sites notice.
Why information is used
We use information to provide requested features, keep accounts and games secure, respond to inquiries, measure and improve original content, prevent fraud and abuse, meet legal obligations, and—only after the required setup—support advertising or paid services.
Sharing
We may share limited information with service providers that host, secure, measure, authenticate, or process payments for the network; with participating applications as needed to provide a shared feature; or when legally required. We do not sell personal information for cash. We do not allow service providers to use information outside the services they provide to us except as permitted by law and their published terms.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. No system is perfectly secure, but access should be limited by role, sensitive credentials remain server-side, and private files use restricted storage.
Your choices and requests
You may choose essential-only storage, change privacy and advertising choices from the footer, unsubscribe from optional messages, use games without an account where offered, or request access, correction, deletion, or export by emailing hello@gsix.online with the subject “Privacy request.” Where supported, Google Privacy & messaging lets visitors in applicable US states opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising and transmits those choices using the Global Privacy Platform. Rights vary by location, and we may need to verify a request.
Children
GSix.online is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If a child-focused experience is created, it will receive separate age-appropriate treatment and advertising settings before launch.
Changes
We will update the date above when this notice materially changes. Important changes may also be announced on the site.
